Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Junior Sales Assistant to join our start-up team specialized in upcycled kimono. This role will involve managing stock, ensuring quality control for new arrivals and supporting the team during physical events. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sustainability, eager to learn, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proactive attitude.
Responsibilities:
-Manage stock inventory, including tracking incoming and outgoing shipments, organizing storage areas, and conducting regular stock checks.
-Perform quality control inspections on new arrivals to ensure they meet company standards and customer expectations.
-Assist in merchandising efforts, including setting up product displays and arranging promotional materials during events.
-Support and assist during photoshoot and video making, market set up and fairs.
-Maintain cleanliness and organization of event spaces and product storage areas.
-Packing orders and shipments for consignments.
-Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines, at all times.
Job Requirements
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
Enthusiasm for sustainability and eco-friendly initiatives.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel to various event locations as required.
The ability to create content for social media aligned with the brand and support us to create material with Canva is and ExtraPlus!
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in sales or retail management is a plus.

Offer:
Minimum Hour required per week: 10
Proposed salary (negotiable according to experience): 10$/H (to increase to 11/H after one month and 12/H after two months if the performances match the requirements).
The role is based in Tiong Bahru studio and we require physical presence.
Starting Date: Immediate
Possibility to become Full-Time staff after 6 months
